Molecular signatures database (MSigDB) 3.0 is a dataset published in Bioinformatics (2011). On theSindex it has a DataRank of 18.0, placing it in the top 8.3% of the data-sharing corpus. It has been cited 7,680 times, with 193 citing works in its 1-hop citation network. Its calibrated FAIR score is 37/100.
Abstract Motivation: Well-annotated gene sets representing the universe of the biological processes are critical for meaningful and insightful interpretation of large-scale genomic data. The Molecular Signatures Database (MSigDB) is one of the most widely used repositories of such sets. Results: We report the availability of a new version of the database, MSigDB 3.0, with over 6700 gene sets, a complete revision of the collection of canonical pathways and experimental signatures from publications, enhanced annotations and upgrades to the web site. Availability and Implementation: MSigDB is freely available for non-commercial use at http://www.broadinstitute.org/msigdb. Contact: [email protected]

Base Score Contribution
1.3
From this paper's citation signal
Citation Network Contribution
16.6
From 193 citing papers with measurable signal
Ranked by citation count — the same ordering the engine uses when summing log1p(Cq) over citers.
DataRank blends this paper's own citation count with the influence of the papers that cite it. Here, roughly 7% comes from its base citations and 93% from the citation network (193 citing papers contributed measurable signal).
Citers are pulled from OpenAlex sorted by cited_by_count:descand capped per paper, so when the cap binds we keep the highest-signal references and the score is reproducible across reruns.
